Thank you so much for catering at our wedding, we're so pleased we picked you! It was really important to us to have food that was high quality and free range and we knew it was a good match when we saw how enthusiastic you were about the quality of your ingredients. So many people said how fantastic the food was - my aunt said it was the best food she's ever had at a wedding! It was really lovely and just perfect for the day, fresh, delicious and summery.
It was so reassuring to know you were going to be at the barn looking out for the little details and you were so helpful and thoughtful in the lead up to the wedding.

A huge 'thank you' for catering for Sally and Tim's wedding. What can I say, everything was wonderful. The food was absolutely fantastic and your team of workers were so very kind and helpful. Needless to say we were swamped with people raving about the bbq, the best ever being the words used. You will be pleased to know there are some very 'arty' pictures of the eton mess on the official wedding pictures as well and one with the three bridesmaid enjoying their strawberries.

Matt's service was amazing!
Matt and the pig turned up early and he got on with the cooking whilst we bombed around setting our party up, dribbling at the smells of the cooking pig. Matt fitted in effortlessly into our chaotic kitchen and served on time with a perfectly cooked pig! Guests came back for seconds and if they could have fitted it in would have been up for thirds! I have received numerous emails and calls remarking on what a fantastic pig roast.

For a 30th Birthday party, The Piggy Squire provided a DIY Pig Roast which was absolutely perfect! The meat was tasty and succulent and many commented it was the nicest they had tasted. It was all so easy, and Matt made sure we had everything we needed for the roasting to go without a hitch. The Piggy Squire is thoroughly professional and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We would recommend them to supply a Pig Roast to anyone, and it brings people together in a way an ordinary barbeque just can't match. Delicious free range meat, a friendly and professional service, and the best talking point party could wish for... what more could be needed?!

Thank you so much for the absolutely first class pig roast on my wife’s birthday. Every one of our guests was very complimentary about both the roast and the salads (the crackling was singled out for extra special praise!) Everyone had more than their fill – and we thought we hadn’t ordered enough despite your frequent assurances that you always over-cater. In the end, 3 days later and we have only just finished the salads, we still have a freezer full of pork and people took loads of food away with them at the time! Our guests also remarked on your friendly efficiency and helpfulness and I would certainly echo that during the set up and preparation. Excellent work and a big thank you from all of us. Just one thing though, how did you manage to arrange such wonderful weather?

All guests at the party were raving about how tender the meat was and it was the best Hog roast they had had.
The salads were fantastic too - a lot bigger than I thought they would be!!!
We are still eating the delicious pork now - had pork sandwiches last night and am cooking pork casserole tonight, am also going to make a curry to freeze down. A couple of my friends also took away some meat and are enjoying that too!

We had our daughters' 21st birthday party in April 08. The theme and dress was 'festivals of the world' with Moroccan style tents - it was a wonderful evening made all the more 'festival' with Matt and Jane from Piggy Squire. They joined in the atmosphere with full gusto but were thoroughly professional and look all the effort of the catering off our shoulders, we were sad to see them leave once we had devoured their delicious lamb and pig roasts. There were many positive comments from the guests not just ourselves and we would thoroughly recommend them for whatever your 'do'.

All of the communication that we had before the day ensured that we knew exactly what we were getting and your various bits of advice were invaluable.
As far as the day itself, well what can we say. The spit with pig already done to a turn, and yourself arrived in ample time and everything looked so clean and presentable. You carved it and had it all ready to meet our requested serving time, and there was ample meat for everyone, and for second helpings as well.
So many people came up to us to say what a good idea it was to have a pig roast instead of just a standard buffet and how good the meat (and crackling ) was. We have already given your details to two people who want to use you for their function.

I'd like to say that the pig roast was a total success - the meat was
superb, and was devoured by my friends, many of whom are discerning foodies.
Several vegetarians gave in and had a temporary lapse (although I'd prepared a veggie dish for them), because it looked and smelled so good.
It comfortably fed the 55+ who came, and was surprisingly easy to cater around - rolls, apple sauce and chutney, and salad did the job. It was also much easier to cook than I anticipated - it took minutes to set up and light, and then did its thing for six hours while we set up the party, with the occasional inspection under the lid. There were none of the hazards of conventional barbecue - smoke, burning etc. - as you promised. Thank you also for being so helpful and reassuring, and ringing on the day to check all was well. Your butcher was very helpful too when he delivered the pig.
All in all, it was a really successful way of providing excellent food for a
large number of people.

Our wedding party was the first large (130+) event that my wife and I
have had to organise and we couldn't have done it without the help of
Piggy Squire's hog roast. The team were organised and flexible allowing
us to change numbers up to the last minute. The food was wonderful and
to a really high standard including all the extra salads that they
provided. All our quests thought the food was wonderful. We will use
the piggy squire again and again for all our outside catering events.
